I just moved to Warrenton and my cat needed medical care. I chose Piedmont Pets because they were closest to my house and seemed to have mostly good reviews. After my first and only visit, I can assure you that I won't be back. The women at the front desk were not the least bit personable; even knowing I was a new client didn't prompt them to be friendly. Even more concerning, I was absolutely blown away by what they charged. I know that all vet practices are seeing increases in the cost of care (almost entirely due to private equity ownership), but the total for my visit truly gobsmacked me. They also gave me an estimate for a dental procedure that topped $3300 (I've since gotten estimates for the same procedure from two more vets and both were around $700). I replied to Piedmont Pets' email with questions and never got a response. Obscenely overpriced + poor customer service = you won't see me again.

We unexpectedly got a new kitten who and they were able to get us in right away to have her checked out. They were so nice and accommodating! Our dog is also a patient here and we highly recommend.
